We have been faced with so much pain, we have been forced into isolation. This time pushed me to reflect, create and heal. This body of work is a reflection of my personal struggle with trauma, shock, pain, anger and the overwhelming sense of a lack of hope. However, Pain is beautiful, purposeful, and necessary.

 

Pain is beautiful because it is unique for each and every individual—like a snowflake or fingerprint.

Pain is purposeful because it can teach us things that we would not be able to see otherwise.

Pain is necessary because without it, we would not be able to experience the joys in life.
